KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited Safety Specialist Jobs; To ensure construction activities meet required quality standards and safety regulations by conducting inspections, coordinating material testing, maintaining records, and supporting safe site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations.
Lead daily toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
Monitor PPE usage and safe work practices.
Conduct risk assessments and support permit‑to‑work processes.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions.
Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Deliver safety inductions and training for employees and contractors.
Inspect emergency equipment and ensure site emergency preparedness.
Collaborate with project teams to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or Building Construction.
1–3 years’ experience in safety or quality control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of construction quality control standards and material testing procedures.
Basic understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
