KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited Safety Specialist Jobs; To ensure construction activities meet required quality standards and safety regulations by conducting inspections, coordinating material testing, maintaining records, and supporting safe site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and regulations.

  • Lead daily toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.

  • Monitor PPE usage and safe work practices.

  • Conduct risk assessments and support permit‑to‑work processes.

  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions.

  • Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.

  • Deliver safety inductions and training for employees and contractors.

  • Inspect emergency equipment and ensure site emergency preparedness.

  • Collaborate with project teams to promote a safe and compliant work environment.

    Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or Building Construction.

  • 1–3 years’ experience in safety or quality control.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of construction quality control standards and material testing procedures.

  • Basic understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
