KCB Bank Senior Employee Relations Manager Jobs in Kenya

Key Responsibilities

Formulate input to the Employee Relations and Wellness HR Strategy relating to own HR area.

Implement Group HR policies, procedures, and processes, providing guidance to staff and line management.

Advise on complex employee matters including disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, and dispute resolution.

Liaise with Forensic Department and other stakeholders to investigate staff disciplinary and grievance cases.

Manage staff separation procedures and communication, ensuring compliance with policies and statutory requirements.

Manage lawsuits filed against the Bank involving former staff, liaising with Legal Department and coordinating evidence.

Maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders including HR heads, unions, consultants, industry bodies, and staff.

Prepare management papers, reports, recommendations, briefs, proposals, and presentations.

Provide secretarial support for committees and forums relating to employee relations.

Maintain accurate data, records, and statistics relating to HR area.

Minimum Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (Required).

Professional qualification in HR (Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Postgraduate Diploma) (Required).

Master’s degree in HR Management or Business‑related field (Added Advantage).

Minimum of 7 years’ progressive experience in Human Resources or related field.

Mandatory Hands‑On Experience

Performance Management – Minimum 2 years.

Employee & Industrial Relations – Minimum 4 years.

Disciplinary & Grievance Handling – Minimum 4 years.

Labour Law – Minimum 4 years.

People Risk Management – Minimum 2 years.

People Management – Minimum 3 years.

Relationship Management – Minimum 4 years.
