KCB Bank Relationship Manager Trustee Services Jobs in Kenya; The Relationship Manager – Trustee Services will serve as the primary point of contact for trust clients, beneficiaries and stakeholders, providing expert advisory support on trust structures and fiduciary services.
The role involves managing the full client lifecycle, ensuring compliance, driving portfolio growth, and maintaining high ethical standards in trust administration.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as primary contact for trust clients, beneficiaries and advisers.
Build and strengthen relationships with settlors, beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Manage client lifecycle from onboarding to portfolio reviews.
Drive financial performance of trust portfolio, including billing and collections.
Execute trustee duties including distributions, reporting and record‑keeping.
Maintain accurate client and beneficiary information.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and KCB policies.
Conduct compliance, KYC and AML reviews; resolve issues promptly.
Manage and mitigate risks associated with trust services.
Support internal and external audits and resolve findings.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with internal teams.
Prepare portfolio reports, client updates and management reports.
Facilitate trust meetings and ensure effective communication.
Attend client meetings and deliver presentations.
Uphold integrity, professionalism and fiduciary responsibility.
Support team development through mentoring and motivation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
& Education
University degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Banking.
CISI (Wealth Management) or CIFA certification required.
Strong understanding of trust services, wealth management, fiduciary services and regulatory frameworks.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in trust administration, private banking or wealth management.
5 years’ experience in client relationship management and business development.
5 years’ experience with investment, pension and insurance products in Kenya.
Knowledge of trust law, succession planning, fiduciary responsibilities and regulatory frameworks (RBA, CMA, IRA, Trustees Act).
Strong persuasion, management and communication skills.
High integrity, professionalism and fiduciary responsibility.
Excellent stakeholder management, risk management and problem‑solving skills.
