KCB Bank Relationship Manager Custody Services Jobs in Kenya; The Relationship Manager – Custody Services will source, expand and retain client relationships to increase market share and profitability.

The role involves managing client portfolios, ensuring satisfaction, resolving issues, and driving growth in custody services while upholding integrity and compliance standards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Source, expand and retain client relationships to increase market share and profitability.

  • Achieve assigned financial and business growth targets.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction, retention and identification of new opportunities.

  • Manage client portfolios through continuous reviews and needs identification.

  • Provide service to customers regarding account information and queries.

  • Facilitate problem resolution with specialized units.

  • Review and negotiate contracts with current and potential clients.

  • Source and prepare tenders/presentations for business opportunities.

  • Ensure all client KYC/AML documentation is up to date.

  • Identify and manage risks associated with custody services.

  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients.

  • Attend client meetings, AGMs, pitches and make presentations.

  • Collaborate with investment committees and fund secretaries to strengthen relationships.

  • Ensure custody reports are submitted within SLA timelines.

  • Resolve audit matters for custody
    services clients.

  • Ensure billing and revenue collection for custody services rendered.

  • Uphold highest levels of integrity and ethical standards.

    Experience & Education

  • University degree from a recognized institution.

  • Capital Markets Program Certification (CISI – at least Level 1).

  • Minimum 5 years’ banking experience, with 3 years in Relationship Management in Investment/Custodial Services.

  • Excellent banking operations skills.

  • Strong problem‑solving and emotional intelligence.

  • Persuasion, management and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.

  • Creative approach with ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions.
