KCB Bank Quality Assurance Analyst Jobs in Uganda;The Quality Assurance Analyst will champion and coordinate business requirements reviews, define test strategies, and ensure complete, precise, and testable requirements.

The role supports the IT division in strengthening software quality assurance processes, executing functional and non‑functional testing, and embedding continuous improvement policies.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and coordinate business requirements reviews across functional teams

  • Define and create overall project test strategy and plan

  • Develop, document, and maintain functional and non‑functional test cases and scripts

  • Collaborate with business units to execute and validate test cases traceable to requirements

  • Tune SQA processes, adopt tools, and define reusable templates aligned with the SQA Framework

  • Define test processes, conduct readiness assessments, and establish test beds

  • Engage technical teams in integration, regression, load, performance, security, and usability testing

  • Prepare and review test results, report defects, and develop acceptance reports

  • Perform post‑deployment sanity and regression tests and post‑implementation reviews

  • Participate in formulation and implementation of software process improvement policies

    Qualifications

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field (required)

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Project Management (advantageous)

    Professional Certifications

  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (preferred)

  • Certified Agile Tester

  • Certified Scrum Master (advantageous)

  • Microsoft Test and Quality‑related certifications

    Experience

  • Experience in IT with focus on Business Analysis, Software Development, and Quality Assurance

  • Exposure to at least two IT disciplines such as application development, middleware, SOA, and SQA

  • Experience with operating systems (Windows, Unix) and database management systems

  • Prior working experience in Software Quality Assurance and testing automation

  • Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to break down complex tasks

  • Ability to liaise with management and subject matter experts across the industry
