KCB Bank Portfolio Manager, Corporate & Mortgage Loans Jobs in Kenya

Responsibilities

Monitor credit risks for facilities under Grade 10 and Grade 20 to avert migration to NPL at branch and regional levels.

Ensure compliance of construction projects with conditions precedent and milestones until completion.

Review loan documentation and confirm compliance with KCB manuals, policies, and statutory regulations before disbursement.

Manage staff‑on‑exit portfolio by ensuring timely conversion to public terms and payments to minimize NPL migration.

Ensure bank facilities are adequately secured upon completion of construction projects.

Follow up on insurance renewals to achieve 100% compliance, with KCB Kenya’s interest duly noted.

Generate and analyze timely Management Information (MI) reports for portfolio control and regulatory compliance.

Ensure compliance with covenants for corporate portfolio and assist in resolving breaches within SLAs.

Action file maintenance reports to ensure data accuracy and enable early remedial action.

Maintain and update deferrals and exceptions collaterals registers for corporate and mortgage portfolios.

Approve release of securities for corporate customers and performance bonds for staff upon project completion.

Approve release of securities and performance bonds upon payoff of facilities and successful completion of staff loan projects.

Minimum Position Qualification Requirements

Academic & Professional

Bachelor’s degree in any

field (required).

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent (added advantage).

Professional qualification in a business field.

Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in credit administration and portfolio management.

At least 3 years’ experience in data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, IFRS 9).

Proficiency in core banking systems (T24, CQ, TAC).

Minimum 3 years’ people leadership experience (coaching, conflict management, delegation, cross‑functional collaboration).
