Brief Description

The role holder will perform required duties under KCB foundation.

The primary role will be to support the small businesses to navigate the statutory, legal and regulatory spaces in the conduct of their business

Detailed Description

Advising the small businesses about types of businesses registration and pros and cons of each.

Assist the small businesses in the process of registration.

Assist the small businesses in the acquisition of trading licenses.

Supporting the businesses in the process of drafting contracts

Supporting the businesses in the process of patenting ideas

Supporting the businesses in the process of registering trademarks

Supporting the business in the process of complying with standards bodies such as Rwanda Bureau of Standards

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law

Professional Qualifications in Law/ Business

Law certification are an added advantage

At least 1 - 2 experience in legal practice, business development and handling business law matters

Good command of spoken and written English and Kinyarwanda

Self-driven individual who works efficiently under minimum supervision

Ability to facilitate learning in others
