KCB Bank Kenya Senior Credit Analyst Jobs



Job Description

  • Evaluate and decision credit proposals (new, renewals, one‑offs, amendments) received from Corporate and Mortgage business units in line with KCB Credit policy, CBK Prudential guidelines, and market factors.

  • Verify and analyze credit information and documentation such as bank statements and financials provided by Relationship Managers or customers.

  • Liaise with RMs and branches for queries, additional information, and business recommendations for deviations when needed.

  • Support creation and update of credit processes, policies, manuals, and product standards related to Corporate and Mortgage business.

  • Visit clients, centers, or branches independently or with RMs/Managers to evaluate credit proposals and understand client operations.

  • Attend to audit requirements, respond to audit remarks, and ensure corrective actions are implemented for Corporate and Mortgage Credit Unit.

  • Monitor Corporate and Mortgage portfolios for renewals, limits expiry, early vintage performance, migration, and PAR.

  • Prepare industry reports and peer analysis papers on business, operational, and financial indicators guided by industry reviews and credit reports.

    Position Qualification Requirements

    Experience

  • Minimum 6 years’ total experience.

  • Corporate Credit Analysis – 6 years (Essential).

  • Risk Management – 5 years (Desirable).

  • General Banking/Lending – 3 years (Essential).

  • Debt Recovery – 3 years (Desirable).

  • Managing Teams – 3 years (Essential).

    Academic & Professional

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Required).

  • Professional qualifications: ACIB, CPA(K) (Advantageous).

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (Advantageous).
