KCB Bank Kenya Senior Credit Analyst JobsKCB Bank Kenya Senior Credit Analyst Jobs;We are seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to evaluate, analyze, and recommend retail credit proposals, support policy development, and ensure compliance with CBK Prudential Guidelines and KCB Credit standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and decision credit proposals (new, renewals, amendments) in line with KCB Credit policy, CBK Prudential guidelines, and market/industry factors

  • Verify and analyze credit information and documentation; liaise with Branch Managers and customers for clarifications and deviations

  • Support creation and update of credit processes, policies, manuals, and product standards for retail business

  • Provide training and guidance on credit matters to branch credit teams through engagements and visits

  • Contribute to development and review of retail credit products and appraisal tools (e.g., scorecards, business rules)

  • Maintain strong partnerships with business units through effective communication and resolution of customer complaints

  • Attend to audit requirements, respond to audit remarks, and ensure corrective actions are implemented

  • Monitor retail portfolio performance (Early Vintage, Migration, PAR/NPL ratios) and recommend remedial actions such
    as limit reviews or scheme suspension

    Qualifications & Experience

    Academic & Professional

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (required)

  • Professional qualifications: ACIB/AKIB, CPA(K), ACCA (advantageous)

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (advantageous)

    Experience

  • Minimum 8 years’ general banking experience

  • Minimum 8 years’ credit analysis and lending experience (with DLA)

  • Minimum 5 years’ people management experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ stakeholder management experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ credit administration experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ customer/relationship management experience
