KCB Bank Head, Infrastructure & Energy Jobs in Kenya;The Head – Infrastructure & Energy will develop and lead the implementation of the sector strategy in line with the overall Corporate Banking Strategy.

The role involves delivering annual business growth targets, managing client relationships, ensuring portfolio quality, and leading the relationship management team to achieve financial and non‑financial performance objectives.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement the Infrastructure & Energy Sector strategy.

Deliver annual business growth targets including revenue, fees, commissions, PBT, assets, liabilities and customer numbers.

Oversee execution of client deals in line with strategic client plans.

Drive cross‑selling and ecosystem banking for existing and new clients.

Develop client marketing plans and manage pricing, ROE and profitability.

Conduct ongoing reviews of client base for potential high‑risk clients.

Champion seamless customer service to ensure retention and loyalty.

Maintain and deepen client relationships at senior levels.

Spearhead implementation of client strategic plans.

Ensure timely submission of quality credit proposals in line with Credit Policy.

Maintain portfolio quality within NPL and PAR parameters.

Lead, develop and direct the relationship management team.

Recruit, develop and retain skills and resources to meet business needs.

Manage

performance of team members through coaching, feedback and appraisals.

Job Requirements

University degree from a recognized institution.

Master’s degree in Finance or Business‑related field an added advantage.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in banking/financial institutions, with at least 6 years in senior management roles relevant to Infrastructure & Energy sectors.

Proven track record of achieving business growth and profitability targets.

Strong knowledge of banking industry, market trends and challenges.

Demonstrable cross‑cultural, people and relationship management skills.

Sound understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements in corporate governance and banking operations.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
