KCB Bank Ecosystem Lead Education Sector Jobs in Kenya; The Ecosystem Lead – Education Sector will drive KCB’s strategy and business growth within the education ecosystem. The role involves developing sector‑specific strategies, enhancing stakeholder relationships, driving revenue growth, strengthening risk management, and supporting innovation through tailored financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Share market ecosystem trends and competitive analysis with the Strategy Office and Business Units.

  • Develop and execute sector‑specific strategies aligned with education ecosystem needs.

  • Create Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) for learning institutions across Corporate and Retail divisions.

    Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with government agencies, universities, schools associations, and regulatory bodies.

  • Coordinate with business units for a unified sales approach and onboarding programs.

  • Represent KCB in sector ecosystem planning and stakeholder forums.

    Revenue Growth & Risk Management

  • Increase lending, deposits, and transaction volumes through tailored products.

  • Implement credit structures such as trade credit insurance and institutional guarantees.

  • Coordinate with Risk Function to enhance credit risk assessment using value‑chain data.

    Innovation & Product Development

  • Collaborate with product and IT teams to develop digital financial solutions (ERPs, LNK, Lipa KARO, embedded finance, payment gateways).

  • Drive adoption of technology‑driven solutions with value‑based pricing.

  • Coordinate product efforts across business units to offer bundled services beyond traditional banking.

    Performance & Reporting

  • Define value chain KPIs and performance targets with Strategy Division.

  • Develop revenue sharing or shadow P&L mechanisms aligned with business units.

  • Support marketing in developing effective go‑to‑market strategies.

    Minimum Position Qualification Requirements

    Academic & Professional

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Mandatory).

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (Advantageous).

  • Professional qualifications in related fields desirable.

    Experience

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in sales and business development (Mandatory).

  • 6 years’ experience in relationship and stakeholder management (Mandatory).

  • 3 years’ experience in the education sector (Mandatory).

  • 3 years’ experience in management reporting and presentation (Mandatory).

  • 3 years’ project management experience (Desirable).

  • 2 years’ experience in digital product solutioning (Desirable).

  • 2 years’ experience in business performance
