We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated visionary and results oriented candidates to fill in the below positions: Senior Laboratory Technologist / Section Head Phlebotomy
Job Purpose:
Plan and organize operations in the phlebotomy section to achieve quality diagnostic outcomes within targeted turnover times and overhead costs, to support business goals and strategies.
Ensuring implementation of the Quality Management System per ISO 15189.
Job Specifications
Academic Qualification:
Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in medical laboratory technology;
Paediatric Phlebotomy Training Certificate;
Minimum 4 years’ experience in
Phlebotomy;
Registration with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB);
Sound knowledge and understanding of Laboratory QMS’s, GCLPs and ISO 15189 standards;
Basic life support skills;
Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
