General Duties
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Opera Cloud, POS, and network infrastructure.
Ensure system reliability, security, and performance.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize IT operations.
Main Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and software applications.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Perform regular data backups and recovery procedures.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
POS System Support
Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems.
Coordinate with vendors for updates and maintenance.
Train staff on POS usage and best practices.
Network Support
Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Configure routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and security.
Implement network upgrades and patches.
Opera Cloud Management
Administer Opera Cloud system.
Manage user access and permissions.
Troubleshoot and resolve Opera Cloud issues.
Coordinate with Opera support for updates and enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
Experience with Opera Cloud and POS systems preferred.
Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and databases.
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
