Job Description

  • KANYA Business PLC is looking for a qualified professional who can assume the coffee export manager position.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor the international and local coffee markets on a daily basis, and plan accordingly;

  • Create a smooth relationship with customers and adhere to their requests;

  • Prepare all export documents correctly and in a timely manner;

  • Maintain professional relationship with banks as well as government offices, and make sure that all paperwork’s are submitted in a timely manner;

  • Prepare coffee ratios and send samples as per the customer’s request;

  • Monitor the coffee processing process and ensure that the coffee is processed according to the agreed upon quality and as per the pre-shipment sample;

  • Manage logistics of the transportation of coffee;

  • If need arises, the export manager needs to be able to work long hours including weekends; and

  • Should be able to lead, direct, support, and control employees’ performance.

    Job Requirements

    Educational Background

  • B.A degree in any business related field.

    Other Requirements

  • Excellent skill in Microsoft Office

  • 4+ years of work experience in the management area of coffee export business, or

  • 2+ years as coffee export manager from a well-

  • known coffee export company; and

  • Good English writing and speaking skills.
