Kamuzu Academy Head of English Jobs in Malawi

Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced teachers to be Head of English. We teach IGCSE First Language English and IGCSE English Literature as well as GCE ‘A’ Level Literature in English.

Applicants should have a degree in English as well as teaching qualification and at least five years’ experience of teaching IGCSE and A level. Previous leadership experience will be advantageous.

Kamuzu Academy is a selective, co-educational boarding school for students aged 11 to 18 years. We occupy a large, purpose-built campus about 2 hours north of the Capital City Lilongwe, with outstanding academic, recreational and sporting facilities.

Malawi is a safe and friendly country, known as “The Warm Heart of Africa,” with varied natural features including Big 5 National Parks, and the stunning Lake Malawi.
