KNP/2022/7: Curriculum Development Officer (1 post)

Terms of Service: KNP/7 (Permanent)

Salary Scale: KShs 38,270 × 1,470 – 39,740 × 1,520 – 41,260 × 1,710 – 42,970 × 1,920 - 44,890 × 2000 - 46,890 × 2,110 – 49,000 × 2,170 - 51,170 p.m.

House Allowance: As applicable in Nairobi County

a) Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

Developing relevant and quality curriculum and curriculum support materials.

Participating in curriculum orientation activities.

Providing input in activities of subject and course panels.

Carrying out basic, applied and action research to inform development of curriculum and curricula support materials; and

Managing data communicating research findings.

Advising and Assisting Academic Department with Development and Documentation of CBET Assessment tools and guides.

Assisting Academic Departments in repackaging course contents for online learning.

b) Requirements for Appointment

For requirements to this

appointment an officer must have: -

Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Attended TVET CDACC Induction Training in CBET

Demonstrated Four years (4) relevant experience especially in development of CBET
Curriculum in TVET.

Computer literacy.
