Justdiggit Foundation Partnerships Manager Foundations Jobs in Kenya; Justdiggit is hiring a Partnerships Manager Foundations to join its Business Development, Fundraising & Partnerships team. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to navigate the world of foundations and institutional funders — building relationships, crafting compelling proposals, and turning interest into multi‑year commitments. You will manage complex, multi‑stakeholder relationships, thrive in long funding cycles, and translate ambitious programmes into persuasive proposals that resonate with demanding funders. Operating in a dynamic NGO environment, you will bring initiative, adaptability, and strategic foresight to help scale Justdiggit’s mission of regreening Africa.

Qualification

Completed higher professional or university education.

At least 5 years of experience securing and managing partnerships with foundations, philanthropic funders, and/or institutional donors (candidates with 3+ years of highly relevant experience are encouraged to apply).

Knowledge

Deep understanding of NGO sector dynamics, preferably within climate, environmental, or landscape restoration ecosystems.

Strong alignment with African development and environmental context, networks, and socioeconomic landscape.

Strong understanding of global philanthropic landscape and foundation funding trends.

Proven familiarity with all types of foundations, including major global climate foundations.

Experience leveraging CRM systems (specifically Salesforce) to manage pipelines and track metrics.

Skills

Outstanding ability to write clearly, persuasively, and analytically.

Confident verbal and presentation skills, capable of building trust with institutional donors.

Strategic agility to oversee both macro‑picture and compliance details.

Strong conceptual and outside‑in thinking.

Consistent relationship builder across cultures and institutional contexts.

Resilient under pressure and able to manage multiple deadlines.

Collaborative team player with

clear sense of ownership.

Expand Justdiggit’s long‑term funding base by positioning the organization as a credible and innovative partner to foundations and institutions. Elevate donor relationships into enduring strategic alliances, build effective consortia, and ensure compliance and reporting standards that lead to funding renewals and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead proactive funder outreach and build consortium partnerships.

Develop compelling value propositions and proposals, including complex consortium proposals.

Coordinate preparation of budgets and supplementary proposal information.

Collaborate with Impact, Scaling, and Communications teams to align fundraising needs.

Steward and grow an active funder portfolio, maximizing long‑term funding potential.

Drive philanthropic positioning and thought leadership to influence donor strategies.

Embed a proactive fundraising culture across the organization.

Justdiggit believes in the power of nature to cool down the planet by regreening degraded land and bringing back vegetation. The mission is to inspire millions to take action to regreen Africa. So far, Justdiggit has restored 525,000 hectares, brought back over 32 million trees, and built a grassroots movement that continues to grow.

What We Offer

One‑year contract with intention to extend.

Salary range (Kenya): KES 342,094 – 443,132 gross per month.

Salary range (Netherlands): €4,292 – €4,945 gross per month (40 hours).

8% holiday allowance.

25 annual leave days (full‑time).
