Job DescriptionFinance Manager distributes the financial resources of a company, is responsible for the budget planning, and supports the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions.
Key Duties and responsibilities:
Planning, controlling and managing financial resources of Juniper's assisted Programs.
Draft Correspondence for direct cash transfer request, direct payment, reimbursement, budget re-programming, and internal procedural directive in the area of financial management and budgeting.
Projection of financial resource requirements for monthly, quarterly, and annual use
Prepare interim financial and budget performance reports on periodical basis, including ad-hoc reports.
Properly file bank statements and other finance related documents.
Overseeing and making available all financial documents for auditing as/when requested.
Synthesizing best practices in the area of Financial Management, and ensure an appropriate internal control and record-keeping systems are maintained at all time.
Finalizing annual mandatory budgets and rephrasing.
Preparing
all necessary documents and facilities for registration, safekeeping
Proper distribution and utilization of office equipment, office supplies, vehicles and other assets
Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
Producing long-term business plans
Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
Managing budgets
Developing and managing financial systems/models
Supervising staff
Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues.
Other duties assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements
Qualifications and training required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA preferred)
Additional qualification of ACCA will be desired
5+ years’ experience in a financial management position
Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with sage system is prefered
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation skills
