Job SummaryA junior auditor is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for companies, local, federal and state government as well as internal users.
A junior auditor reviews the operations of a company making sure that they comply with corporate and government policies.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
Carrying out rigorous audit testing, flexing work plans in response to findings and emerging risks
Agreeing issues, impacts, root causes and recommendations with management throughout the course of audit assignments
Writing clear, concise, robust and balanced audit reports that require minimal re-drafting
Taking a full role in any ad hoc tasks or projects required to meet departmental objectives
Checking payment requests
Working on the company audit procedures
Risk assessment and managing risks
Documenting measures
Being aware of industry nature and developments
Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
Identify loopholes
and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
Required Qualification
BA Degree/ Diploma in Accounting or other related fields
1 Years for degree & 4 years and above for diploma holder
