Judicial Service Commission Chairperson - Jobs in UgandaMinimum Qualifications & Experience:Applicants must be Ugandan citizens holding a Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
Degree from a recognized University / Institution plus a Post Graduate
Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre or from the East African Region and qualified to be appointed a Judge of the
Any Post Graduate qualification and experience in the field of Anti-corruption will be an added advantage.
A person shall be qualified for appointment as a judge of the High Court, if he or she has been a judge of a Court having unlimited jurisdiction in civil and criminal matters or Court having jurisdiction in appeals from any such court or has practiced as an advocate for a period not less than ten (10) years before a Court having unlimited jurisdiction in civil and criminal matters.
The person specifications for this post are the same as those for the Chairperson Leadership Code Tribunal).
The office holder will be responsible for the following duties:
To preside over meetings and hearings of the Tribunal, in the absence of the Chairperson.
To Hear and adjudicate cases together with the other Members.
Using his or her legal background to guide the Members on the provisions of the Law.
To Deputize the Chairperson in managing and ensuring the orderly and expeditious discharge of the business of the Tribunal.

To discharge any other duty as may be assigned by the Chairperson from time to time

Applications are invited from suitable and eligible Ugandans to fill the following vacant posts available at the Leadership Code Tribunal. The Leadership Code Tribunal is established under section 19A of the Leadership Code (Amendment) Act 5 / 2017.
All applicants must be of high moral character, proven integrity and possess considerable experience and demonstrated competences and of high caliber in the
conduct of Public affairs.

email@example.com which should be received not later than 21st June 2019 at 5:00p.m. Applications should bear the title of the post applied for as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy.
Applicants should attach on each duly completed Form, a Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing the names and contacts of at least three (3)
referees each for Professional and Character references.
A recent passport size photograph, copies of academic certificates and transcripts, a copy of the National ID and a birth certificate. Applicants already in Public Service should attach a copy of their latest IGG acknowledged Declaration Certificate of Income, Assets and Liabilities where applicable.
