Job DescriptionEthiopia–Data Use Partnership (E-DUP) seeks to recruit a highly qualified Health Information System Documentation short term Consultant.
E-DUP is a partnership led by Ethiopia’s Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) to enhance collection, aggregation and use of high quality data including routine health information at different levels to achieve FMOH’s Information Revolution agenda as stated in the Health Sector Transformation Plan.
The consultant supports the following activities related to Ethiopia’s health information system among others
Collect primary and secondary information using qualitative or quantitative methods.
Organize/analyze and produce descriptive and analytical report with a focus on health information systems.
Prepare manuscripts for publication.
Document success stories and best practices.
Support overall documentation activities on data use, digitization and HIS governance interventions
Edit, format, clean and finalize draft documents.
Job Requirements
Advanced degree in public health, social studies or related discipline
Demonstrate understanding of Ethiopia’s health information system.
Minimum of ten years’ professional work experience
Fluent in English writing and speaking
Experience in undertaking qualitative and quantitative research
Advanced skill in computer and statistical software
