one of the leading Benefit Scheme in Kenya with high fund value, is seeking to recruit a qualified, competent and highly motivated, results oriented candidate to fill the position of a Fund Administrator.

The Administrator will oversee all matters regarding the Scheme's fund portfolio including administration of the affairs of the Scheme in accordance wit h t he provisions of the Retirement Benefits Act and Regulations.

Scheme Trust Deed and Rules and any of her relevant legislation in force.

Requirements

The candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in any of the following: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Law or a related field.
  • Five (5) years relevant experience in a busy Benefits Scheme.
  • A track record of success and performance characterized by vision and strategic thought, rapid growth and service delivery.
    Or
  • A Bachelor's degree in in any of the following: Business Administration. Finance. Economics. Insurance. Actuarial Science. Law or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years relevant experience in a busy Benefits Scheme.
  • A track record of success and performance characterized by vision and strategic thought, rapid growth and service delivery.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities of the Fund Administrator are:

  • Provision of secretariat service to the Board of Trustees.
  • Provision of overall scheme administrative leadership:
  • Development and formulation of appropriate scheme policies:
  • Facilitating preparation of Scheme accounts and timely audit of the same to ensure compliance
  • Maintenance of proper Records to ensure members benefits are processed in accordance with RBA Act, Rules and Regulations and Scheme/Fund guidelines:
  • Facilitation of timely payments of member benefits:
  • Monitoring performance and service Standards of all external service providers and report appropriately to the Trustees:
  • Expediting renewal of contracts with Service Providers to ensure quality service to stakeholders:
  • Expedite review of Trust Deed and Rules in line with changes in legislation, and ensure approval by the Regulatory Authority: x. Keeping up to date records of the scheme
  • Receive and analyze periodical reports from Fund Managers. Property Managers and Custodian to ensure conformity to regulations:
  • Preparation of member benefit statements:
  • Overseeing the risk management and control systems and
  • Facilitating the development of and implementation of efficient scheme systems and processes.
