Job Description Applicants must be Theatre trained with management/leadership experience and the ability to function well in a busy theatre complex.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the day-to-day clinical operations of the theatres to ensure the smooth running of the unit
Management and coordination of staff and resources
Participate in business planning and budgeting processes
Manage nursing costs according to budget
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Promote customer satisfaction within unit and address customer complaints
Conduct quality care rounds and clinical practice audits to monitor care levels and report accordingly.
Displaying high attention to detail and problem solving skills
Requirements:
Nursing Diploma or Degree and SANC registered
Post basic Operating Theatre qualification (essential)
Min of 5 years working experience in Operating Theatres with min of 2 years management experience
Basic understanding of labour legislation and financials
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency
Demonstration of good organisational and time management skills
Willingness to learn and develop
Time management and organisational skills
