Job Description

The Data Analytics Manager led the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation and visualization of data on employment and job creation for informed decision making.

The Data Analytics Manager reports directly to the Commissioner and will be specifically tasked with the following responsibilities:

Oversee and lead design, piloting, implementation, administration and ongoing enhancement of critical systems and tools

Lead discussions with internal team and external partners, to socialize the role and working modalities of the Data Analytics and secure buy-in

Lead the definition and management of strategic data partnerships with key partners

Oversee development of data management and governance guidelines, data dictionaries, and other documents

Oversee the prioritization and delivery of service requests ensuring high-quality service provision, troubleshooting and capacity-building

Performing deep-dive analysis on existing data and identifying new sets of data that could better inform national decision-making on job creation and employment

Building and maintaining a performance dashboard for the commission’s team professional development

Gather, analyse and disseminate key job creation related statistics

Lead the centralization of data produced

on the labour market and on job creation

Create data management system to the Jobs Creation Commission

Undertake all other relevant activities assigned by the director of data analytics and/or the Commissioner

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

MA/BA in Agro-Economy, Business Administration, Statistic, Policy Analysis, Computer science or related fields

A minimum of 9/7 years of work experience in related field

Job Grade: XI
