Job Summary

The Data Analytics Expert will support the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation and visualization of quantitative and qualitative data.

The Expert reports directly to the Data Analytics Director and have the following responsibilities:

Identify, analyse and organize existing studies and reports on sectoral employment opportunities, size and potential of growth

Undertake quality control and triangulation on employment data prepared within the Data Analytics team, the commission and/or by other stakeholders

Design and place tools and systems for data collection and analysis

Interpret quantitative data and design statistical models

Identify employment trends, patterns and relationships to support the preparation of projections

Drive the development and operationalisation of a central labor market information system

Coordinate with other employment and job creation data-generating institutions to ensure data consistency and uniformity

Prepare and unveil to others timely reports on employment trends

Undertake all other relevant activities assigned by the director of data analytics and/or the Commissioner

Identify sets of indicators to improve information generation on job creation and employment
