Job Summary

The Budget and Planning Expert II will support the budget development, financial planning, reporting, grant reimbursement and compliance. The expert performs a variety of transactions, analysis and reports in support of budget and plan process.

The Budget and Planning Expert II reports directly to the Finance, Procurement, Property and General Services Director and will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

Monitor budget transfer activity through out the year to ensure that proper documentation is supplied and that transactions are properly authorized;

Prepare budget reports and submit recommendations for approval of budget request;
coordinate with team leads to ensure that budget adjustments are made in accordance with program changes

Provide advise and technical assistance with planning, cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation

Assist in the planning and preparation of activity/program design and approval

Perform cost-benefits analyses to compare operating programs, review financial request, and explore alternative financing methods

Provide technical support to the planning

BA in Accounting
