JKUAT Enterprises Ltd Electrical & Electronics Engineers - Experienced Engineer Jobs in Kenya; The Electronics & Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment, systems, and components. This includes power generation and distribution systems, control systems, electronic devices, and communication equipment. The engineer ensures systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, while complying with industry standards and regulations.


Responsibilities

1. Developing engineering designs as per set standards and procedures

2. Undertaking repair and maintenance of tools, machines and equipment

3. Effective utilization of tools and operation of machines and equipment

4. Adherence to quality, health and safety standards

5. Participating in project planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation

6. Meeting the agreed the performance measures

7. Adhering to the established internal controls necessary to safeguard against errors and fraud

8. Participating in risk management and development of mitigation measures

9. Supervising and directing personnel involved in engineering works

10. Utilization of technological innovations in engineering works

11. Develop specialized computer software routines, internet-based Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases, or business applications to customize geographic information.

Preferred Specifications/ Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution.

2. A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience

3. Registered as Graduate Engineer with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) or any other registration by relevant Professional body.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

5. Drive for results and achievement

6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

7. Project management skills

8. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

9. Creativity and Innovative thinking to develop effective solutions

10. Effective verbal and written communication skills and Negotiation Skills

11. Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping abilities
