The Position:

  • Jibu has been granted the opportunity to launch a total of 6 Franchises in the two major refugee camps of the Country – Nakivale and Rhino.

  • The Project Consultant is in charge of the end-to-end coordination with all stakeholders and implementation of the project including selection of Franchises within the Refugee communities, full setup of the franchises, training and support for overall business growth

    About the Role and Responsibilities:

    Franchisee Selection

  • Reach out to organizations and stakeholders to build a pipeline of potential Franchisees

  • Vetting of pipeline to identify 6 final candidates that will be the business owners of Jibu Franchises

  • Coordination of payments to meet financial obligations of Franchises

    Franchise Launch Process

  • Identify premisses that suit as franchise locations

  • Liaise with Jibu’s technical team and supply chain team to build out the franchise locations as per Jibu’s standards

  • Coordinate training of Franchisees and their employees, on commercial and technical aspects of the Jibu Franchising Business

    Business Support

  • Support all Franchises in their initial 6 months of operations to

  • Recruit customers recruit and/or open up retail points manage their inventory manage their customers
    achieve sales (volume) target achieve profitability

    Reporting & stakeholder management

  • Support reporting requirements for the project
    maintain good relationship with key stakeholders who are key to our operations in the camps
    report on project results in the correct templates

  • Highly motivated individual focused on driving impact and change

  • Project Management, cross-functional leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills(across different cultures)

  • Proven track
    record of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, where multiple projects and deadlines exist.

  • Experience working with minimal supervision, with strong attention to details and follow-through.

  • Independent initiative to solve problems and improve on existing solutions

  • Strong logical and strategic thinking

  • Ability to proactively develop creative solutions.

  • Fluent in English is a MUST.

    Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelors/ Masters in project management or relevant subjects.

  • Experience with FMCG brands required

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the humanitarian sector

  • Business operations and Sales (mainly B2C)

  • Monitoring, Evaluation and grant reporting

  • Data analysis for decision making
