Jacaranda Maternity Credit Control Officer Jobs in Kenya; We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, results‑driven, and experienced Credit Control Officer to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will safeguard the hospital’s financial health through effective management of accounts receivable, timely collections, insurance follow‑up, and strong debtor relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all accounts receivable activities including insurance companies, corporates, and patient accounts.

  • Ensure achievement of monthly collection targets to support cash flow requirements.

  • Monitor debtor balances and implement timely debt collection strategies.

  • Prepare and review debtor aging reports and recommend action on overdue accounts.

  • Follow up and resolve outstanding insurance claims, delayed payments, denials, and disputed accounts.

  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely billing and revenue capture.

  • Reconcile debtor accounts and issue statements, reminders, and client correspondence.

  • Address and resolve billing disputes professionally and efficiently.

  • Negotiate payment arrangements while ensuring compliance with approved credit terms.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, corporate clients, and other debtors.

  • Monitor payment trends and recommend proactive interventions.

  • Maintain updated contracts and records for debtors and insurance providers.

  • Prepare regular reports on collections, debtor performance, and revenue indicators.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare billing
    regulations, hospital policies, and internal controls.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within credit control and revenue cycle management.

    Qualifications and Skills

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

    Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or similar role, preferably in healthcare.

    Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in healthcare billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel mandatory).

  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance claim processes.

    Soft Skills

  • Strong negotiation and debt recovery skills.

  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation abilities.

  • High integrity and confidentiality.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.k
