Ital Global Pharmaceutical Technologist Jobs in Kenya; Our client in the healthcare sector seeks to engage a Pharmaceutical Technologist to prepare, manufacture, and quality‑check pharmaceutical products while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Dispensing & Patient Support

Receive prescriptions or refill requests and verify accuracy.

Fill bottles with prescribed medications and affix labels.

Assist clients with basic questions or refer them to the pharmacist.

Establish and maintain patient profiles, including medication lists.

Inventory & Storage Management

Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.

Order, label, and store incoming supplies; verify quantities against invoices.

Monitor stock levels, anticipate needs, and remove outdated drugs.

Price stock and mark items for sale.

Operational Support

Answer telephones and respond to requests.

File filled prescriptions and maintain records.

Clean and maintain equipment, work areas, and sterilize glassware.

Mix pharmaceutical preparations according to prescriptions.

Compute charges for medication and equipment dispensed.

Dispense medications to patients, nursing stations, and departments.

Compliance & Ethics

Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and professional standards.

Observe professional ethics for the benefit of patients, relatives, and colleagues.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Diploma in Pharmacy.

Enrolled with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy healthcare facility.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Proficiency in pharmaceutical inventory systems.
