Key Performance Areas:

  • Editing and creating computer programs and scripts

  • Investigating and solving data related queries independently

  • Handling complex projects from technical and project management perspective

  • Reviewing / auditing projects programs / folders for standards adherence, completeness and accuracy

  • Create strong partnership with Service Lines

  • Deliver correct results

  • Contribute in improving turnaround times for DP

  • Client satisfaction 95% or higher

  • Ensure that timesheets are completed on a weekly basis

  • Make use of ITC

  • Ensure Issues and Rework are recorded on time and accurately

  • Expand own understanding of data processing through channels, such as on-the-job exposure, reading and discussions with peers

  • Good time management skills

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

  • Ability to understand and explain concepts and techniques to others

  • Solid organization and problem solving skills

  • Constantly update and develops their own skills and knowledge

  • Well informed about the issues, needs and priorities of other parts of the organization.

  • Gives priority to the customer needs, internal and
    external

  • Has a bias for action and responds quickly when necessary.

  • Learns and recovers quickly from setbacks

  • Identifies the key priorities and keep their focus on those consistently over time

  • Knowledge sharing within the team and junior members

    Education:

  • Matric as a minimum

  • Exposure to at least 1 programming language

  • Advanced knowledge of data processing platforms used SAS, SPSS, Dimensions

  • Advanced knowledge of data files types ASCII, SAV, SAS, CSV

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel

  • Excellent understanding of DP processes and documents

  • Good knowledge of MS Power Point
