Our client, an international service company is seeking to recruit Accounts Representative (Consumer Business Group).

Overall Summary:

The overall purpose is to create demand for client’s products, Consumer Health, Stationery & Office Supplies divisions and grow the supported business in the key markets identified in the strategic plan.

The main role is to create demand at end-user level within selected verticals and driving selected portfolios, while pulling the demand through the local and national distributor.

Job Specifications

  • Working with distributors to reach End Users i.e. Key Accounts.
  • Manage and increase distribution footprint in Retail with focus on Category Management
    Territory Management.
  • To and support an effective sub-distribution network for onward retailing of products
  • Customize delivery of products and services solutions to meet their needs and become a trusted advisor to the most complex customers
  • Develop and implement own business plans and program that increase market coverage.
  • Performs analysis and investigation about product and markets.
  • Interpret industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives to develop services programs and deliver those programs to largest, complex Consumer business systems.
  • Builds strong customer and industry relationships
  • Ensures the optimal use of current channels and identifies partners/alliances/channel for continuous growth and application of existing and expanding services offerings
  • Supports channel marketing programs by providing channel-specific information, analyzing channel coverage, and coordinating the implementation of channel marketing programs by executing brand plans – in line with marketing promotional programs
  • Develops process to coordinate Channel related trade shows and industry events by Implementing tailor-made promotions and end user contact programs.
  • Tracks program execution and results through POS slide deck to share with Channel partners during Quarterly reviews, Share point and One Drive Management, and Integrity Assessment process and Distributor Agreements signing and database
  • Prepare various administrative reports and presentations (oral/written) as required.
  • Represents the company in a manner consistent with company business conduct code and business unit expectations while also promoting the company image.

    Qualifications / Requirements

    1. Education

  • Degree in Sales/Marketing or Commerce
    Computer literacy ( MS Office , especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)

    2. Experience

  • Minimum 3-6 years’ experience within the FMCG environment
  • Distributor Management

  • Must be proactive and have a proven record of attaining targets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision

    4. Knowledge / Abilities

  • Strategic marketing principles and planning and
    Implementation of effective marketing plans, product launches, distribution, forecasting, gross margins, competitor analysis.
  • Demonstrates in-depth understanding of product lines, customer segments and their needs, internal functional needs, and competitive products and policies.
  • Fully competent in utilizing demand generation skills. Listening, interpersonal, negotiating, presentation, planning, administrative and analytical skills.
  • Works from guidelines, using individual reasoning when deviating from these guidelines.
  • Modifies and adapts behavior to changes in the situation or environment to reach goals.
  • Examines all available information in problem situations and uses prior experience to determine the best solution.
  • Leverages working relationships with key people in accounts and/or distributors at all levels.
