International Rescue Committee Finance Manager Jobs in South Sudan
ResponsibilitiesPrepare budget coding's and upload B and C budget ledgers into SUN.
Assist the Finance Controller in the preparation, revision and maintenance of country office Operating Budget and quarterly re-forecasts.
Prepare Shared Program Cost allocation processes and methodology for overarching costs for budgeting purposes that comply with donor regulations and are reasonable, allocable and allowable and keep updated.
Preparation and revision of grant budget proposals
Working with program staff in preparing and/or revising grant budgets to support new proposals or realignments to ensure adequate coverage of country operating costs and headquarters costs.
Grant Management:
Work with program staff to update grant spending plans on a monthly basis.
Review budget correction forms from Program Coordinators and ensure journal vouchers are prepared and uploaded into the SUN System accounting database by the 10th of each month.
Preparation of Budget versus Actual reports on a monthly basis in donor currency to ensure maximum utilization of budgeted amounts and to provide recommendations on the spending status and for realignments as required.
Focal person for Grant review meeting and CMT.
Provide support to ensure that the BVA's are monitored and followed as per expectations, spending plans and reviews. Work with the Program Managers and Field Coordinators to ensure all are in focus as planned.
Ensure the completeness of the grants financial documentation of the centralized grant filing system.
Participate and assist in internal and external audits processes.
Perform other duties, as appropriate or requested by Finance Controller.
