International Rescue Committee Global Lead, CRRD Data & Analytics Jobs in Kenya;This is a strategic leadership role requiring deep technical fluency. The Global Lead will present portfolio performance to senior executives while also reviewing data pipeline architecture with engineers. The role leverages AI and automation as practical tools to reduce manual burden and accelerate insight across IRC’s global operations.

Major Responsibilities

Strategy & Vision

Evolve, own, and drive the CRRD Data Roadmap.

Engage with CRRD leadership to translate decision‑making needs into data product requirements.

Champion adoption of Integra, OTIS, Salesforce, and PID as systems of record.

Explore user experience improvements for program data products.

Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities in data workflows.

Participate in cross‑functional fora to shape system improvements and integration priorities.

Data Products & Systems

Manage and evolve CRRD’s program data product portfolio.

Lead development of the CRRD Data Glossary to standardize KPIs.

Collaborate with IT, Finance, and AMU to institutionalize standardized data definitions.

Serve as primary interlocutor with IT on data platform decisions.

Ensure data protection requirements are embedded in all products.

Adoption, Change Management & Support

Design systems with country‑level implementation in mind.

Develop a support model to build regional and country team capacity.

Ensure products meet documentation standards before launch.

Make progress, priorities, and blockers visible to stakeholders.

Team Leadership

Lead and manage the Program Data Systems team.

Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation with AI tools.

Support team members through effective performance management.

Influence, Relationships & Representation

Partner across departments (AMU, Finance, IT, Technical Units) on shared analytics.

Build benchmarking relationships with peer INGOs and contribute to external convenings.

Key Working Relationships

Reports to: Senior Director, METAL and Senior Director, Data Transformation.

Direct Reports: Program Data Developer(s), Product Manager, QA Analyst,

Project Manager.

Internal Contacts: METAL SMT, AMU, Global and CRRD Finance, IT Leadership, Regional MEAL Advisors, Global Practice Leads.

Desired Experience and Skills

Required

10+ years in data systems, governance, or analytics roles.

Strong technical fluency across the data stack (Databricks, Python, SQL, dbt, BI tools).

Experience developing and executing multi‑year data strategies.

Experience modernizing legacy systems and migrating data products.

Ability to establish data standards and governance frameworks.

Track record of driving adoption and reducing manual processes.

Practical experience applying AI and automation to data workflows.

Strategic thinker able to translate findings into actionable insights.

Ability to manage competing priorities in fast‑paced environments.

Fluency in English; Arabic, French, or Spanish an advantage.

Ability to travel globally up to 20%.

Preferred

Experience with operational data in multi‑country contexts.

Experience in international development or humanitarian response.

Understanding of financial data and metrics.

Experience with metadata management, data modeling, and SDLC.

Knowledge of responsible data practices and data protection regulations (GDPR).
