International Potato Center Enumerators Jobs in Uganda


Job Description

  • The International Potato Center is looking for enumerators to conduct a baseline study on the status of OFSP production and utilization and the nutritional status and welfare of sweetpotato growing households in Northern and Eastern Uganda.

  • The study will be conducted in the following districts: Adjumani, Lamwo, Pader, Agago, Kotido, Moroto, Tororo, Busia and Butaleja districts of Uganda.

  • The position is a Consultancy position limited to Uganda nationals and permanent residents only.

  • The duration of the assignment will vary between 5-10 days depending on the number of households sampled in the district where the enumerator has competence in language.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Collect data from farming households using Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI)

    Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in agricultural or nutrition studies

  • An excellent knowledge of any one of the following languages: Luo, Madi, Ng’akarimajong, Jopadhola, Samia and Lunyole in speech, reading and writing
