International Organization for Migration Programme Manager (Livelihood) Jobs in Nigeria

Context:

For 20+ years, IOM has provided policy and practical support to the Federal Government of Nigeria on migration management. The IOM Country Office in Nigeria also provides wide-ranging operational and programmatic support to vulnerable populations throughout the country; displaced persons, refugees/migrants and communities in need of support.

With offices in Abuja, Lagos, Maiduguri, Benin City, Katsina and Yola, IOM engages with various partners, authorities, and stakeholders to meet strategic goals.

North-East Nigeria is one of the most conflict-affected regions in the country, with a high caseload of historical and recent IDPs. As the context has evolved, the international community has started to focus on creating foundations for durable solutions to protracted displacement, focusing initially on the sustainable return, (re)integration and resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), returnees and the host communities.
