International Medical Corps Project Manager_LN Jobs in Kenya;The Project Manager leads cross‑departmental teams to fulfill project goals and objectives.

Responsible for managing risk, quality and progress of projects to organizational standards, ensuring completion on time, on budget, to quality standards and within scope.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables.

  • Communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.

  • Liaise with stakeholders and manage expectations.

  • Plan and schedule timelines and milestones.

  • Track milestones and deliverables.

  • Produce status reports, analyze results and troubleshoot.

  • Define success criteria and disseminate to stakeholders.

  • Conduct postmortems and lessons learned.

  • Estimate resources and draft budget proposals.

  • Negotiate staff time and recruit consultants as needed.

  • Direct and manage project development end‑to‑end.

  • Develop full‑scale project plans and communications.

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities.

  • Identify and resolve team conflicts and dependencies.

  • Deliver progress reports, proposals and presentations.

  • Manage scope changes, crises and contingency plans.

  • Coach, mentor and supervise project team members.

  • Build and grow business relationships vital to project success.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.

  • MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years’ experience leading medium to highly complex projects, including 3+ years at manager/director level.

  • Industry certification
    (PMP, Prince2).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management and statistical software.

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical research abilities.

  • Ability to work in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.

  • Demonstrated resource management experience.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and prioritization skills.

  • Some travel required.

    Desirable

  • Multi‑year experience across functional areas (operations, finance, HR, client services) and IT.

  • Certified in process improvement or quality programs (Six Sigma, TQM).

  • Experience in humanitarian development agencies or funding NGOs.

  • Experience in multicultural, global environments.

  • Consulting, sales or client services background.

  • Fluency in Arabic, Spanish, Swahili or French.
