  • Um is seeking passionate individuals to serve in an upcoming two years Commercial Exploitation of Children CSEC Project at the Coast Respond.

  • The Sod Worker will provide psychosocial expertise to the survivors of CSEC ensuring they receive appropriate and quality care in accordance with UM minimum standards of care.

  • He/she will engage partners to ensure survivors 19 lowered to follow up on the 1950s to completion, throwing social command and a truina informed alminal justice system.

  • The incumbent will work with other partners in raising awareness of trauma informed care and in building a network of care for CSEC survivors.

  • He/she will participate in the development of referral pathways and reporting of CSEC cases.

  • Additionally, the incumbent will participate in planning and delivery of ting for justice system axons and other sustahalds on victim sensitive standards and case management as well as implementation of survivor of police and strategies to ensure
    achievement of survivor related interventions. .

    Critical Competencies and qualities

    • Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles' Creed

    • Very well versed with trauma focused models principles and processes

    • Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment

    • Result-oriented and self-motivated team player + Partner engagement and management skills

    • Willingness to work under potentially hazardous conditions

    • Exceptionally high levels of honesty and integrity

    Education & Experience

    • Degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or equivalent; Master's degree in Social Work or related fields an added advantage

    • At least 4 years’ professional experience providing counseling psychotherapy to victims of trauma and/or practicing as a social worker in reputable organization.

    • Experience working with children an added advantage

    • Proven experience in successful networking with service providers

    • Certificated Good conduct:

    • Fluent in written and oral communication in English and Kiswahili

    • Excellent listening and report writing skills.
