Job Description

Basic Function of Position

  • Maintain and repair copy equipments, including photocopiers, digital multifunctional copiers, printers, fax machines, scanners and printers.
  • Providing high-quality technical support to different offices and/or departments
  • Ensure professional customer service
  • Must be solution oriented to unanticipated problems

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate office machines such as high speed business photocopiers, reader/scanners, addressing machines, stencil-cutting machines, printers, folding and inserting, bursting, and binder machines.
  • Clean machines, accurately diagnose and perform minor repairs, and report major repair needs.
  • Maintain optimum operating condition of photocopy/printing machines at different offices in ICS and copy center.
  • Maintain replacement part stock schedule and issue purchase request to immediate supervisor by forecasting annual needs.
  • Receive, prioritize and accurately handle copy requests and follow up maintenance of copier in the compound.
  • Maintain a positive company image through proper attire,
  • Ensure all staff requests are handled timely per given time frame
  • Manage accurately inventory of tools, parts and supplies
  • Run machines to test functioning of parts
  • Review job orders to determine the type of work to be done, the quantities to be produced, and the materials needed.
  • Make sure that all copy requests forms are fully filled and approved by appropriate authority and filed in a sequential manner.
  • Duplicate, binds, laminates ordered documents and submit them on time.
  • Checks that all machines at the copy room and other spots are properly working and reports any malfunction immediately to the supervisor.
  • Sort daily mail and notify each section by email to collect it.
  • Inventory all supplies stored and used in the copy room.
  • Maintain a follow up spreadsheet for parts issued from store to the copy center.
  • Keep
    logs daily for copy made during the day, and prepare monthly report
  • Keep information confidentially.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
  • Assist GSS supervisor as needed and performs other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements

    Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience maintaining copier/printer equipment
  • Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
  • Other experience and training with Canon, , HP, Xerox, and other manufacturers is a plus!
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Technical school Diploma


    Job Skills and Requirement

  • He/She must have expert level knowledge of photocopiers and related equipments. Knowledge of strong computer skills and an understanding of computer networks and software programs is required.
  • Must be detail-oriented and mechanically savvy, with the ability to install, disassemble and reassemble copiers and parts.
  • Strong communication and excellent customer service skills is required.
  • This includes being effective and cooperative to all staff.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks Good organizational skills required
  • Great interpersonal skills and be able to work as a team player.
