International Breweries Machine Specialist Jobs in Kenya; To maintain, repair, and optimize plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.

Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Provide specialist support to shift‑based teams during operations.

  • Assist as functional expert in problem‑solving, machine operation, and fault‑finding.

  • Coach, mentor, and transfer knowledge of machine operation to teams.

  • Assess operators’ and artisans’ ability to carry out tasks.

  • Participate in plant optimization trials.

    Maintenance
  • Contribute to maintenance planning meetings.

  • Carry out work during planned, routine, and opportunity maintenance windows.

  • Provide feedback to Maintenance Planner when scheduled work cannot be completed.

  • Assist team members during planned maintenance.

  • Complete administration and SAP tasks in support of maintenance.

  • Participate in maintenance postmortems.

  • Perform cleaning, lubrication, and inspection per schedule.

  • Carry out routine maintenance and resolve uncovered problems.

  • Verify effectiveness of running repairs and document them in SAP.

    Problem Solving
  • Assist team members in resolving problems.

  • Participate in AB reports when requested.

  • Escalate issues to Engineering Controller when necessary.

  • Analyze machine performance, conduct loss/waste analysis, and develop improvement plans.

    Housekeeping & Safety
  • Operate safely at all times and highlight unsafe practices.

  • Adhere to work instructions, policies, and procedures.

  • Apply 5S principles during duties.

  • Physically fit for demanding environment.

  • Self‑managing, action‑oriented, and analytical thinker.

  • Strong problem‑solving ability
    and attention to detail.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in teams and prepared for standby duties.
