    The Mission is working to achieve this goal through a set of three broad Development Objectives (DOs):

  • DO 1: Broadened and inclusive growth,

  • DO 2: A healthier, more educated population in targeted states, and

    In particular, the DCOP will:

  • Serve to assist Integrity’s Chief of Party in Nigeria in technical, administrative, and financial management of the activity, including acting as COP when the COP is unavailable.

  • Help ensure contractual compliance as well as make cash flow projections and monitor
    project budget and expenditures.

  • Supervise field operations, administration, logistics, and procurement, as well as ensure the overall safety of office staff and short-term consultants through management of a security

  • contract and ensuring staff strictly adhere to all security protocols.

  • Managing, delivering, and monitoring of sub-grants as well as program monitoring, evaluation,
    and reporting.

  • Oversee the development of annual work plans and reports, quarterly performance monitoring reports, and other client required reporting, ensuring quality control and timeliness of all deliverables as required by USAID

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of the project technical strategies, adapting global and regional technical resources, tools, and best practices as needed.

  • Ensure that project activities are sustainable by networking, coordinating, and linking effectively with other programs, partners, and counterparts, as well as capacity building and institutional strengthening of IPs.

    Qualifications

  • A minimum of eight years of progressively responsible professional experience in managing
    monitoring and evaluation activities within complex international development contexts in the areas of Health, Democracy, Governance and Conflict, Economic Growth, Education and/or agricultural development.

  • Experience witfinance, operations and security for internationaldonor-funded programs, and USAID-funded projects preferred.

  • A minimum of a Master’s Degree in development, evaluation, economics, knowledge
    management, or related fields.

  • Previous experience leading multiple international donor funded evaluations and
    assessments. Ability to lead and conduct field work in non-permissive environments, areas with hardship conditions, in remote areas, for extended periods of time.

  • Thorough understanding of USAID policies and procedures; prior experience as DCOP or
    Director of Finance and Administration on USAID-funded projects preferred.

  • Excellent management, leadership, decision‐making, and interpersonal skills including, verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation. Superior oral and written English

  • language communication required. Fluency in Hausa, Yoruba, or native Nigerian languages preferred.

  • Experience in Nigeria or West Africa required. Nigerian citizens preferred.

  • Ability to effectively assemble, work with and manage a highly‐skilled, interdisciplinary team; interact with and lead a broad range of cross-sector governmental and non‐governmental
    actors and institutions; and implement detailed, timely and high-quality M&E programs.
