Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda Receipts & Payment Officer Jobs in Uganda

Purpose

Maintain IRA’s books of accounts as per the relevant policies and procedures and prepare
financial reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process all receipts and payments documentation accurately through the computerized
financial management systems on a timely basis;

Prepare and post general journal vouchers;
Issue invoices;

Avail a weekly cash report for Management;

Arrange paperwork and also supporting documentation for creation of new debtors /creditors or amendments to existing debtors/creditors and submit to officer responsible for updating the database;

Filing all records accurately and on a timely basis.

Carry out any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Person Specifications

Qualifications

At least a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Commerce, Business Administration; Accounting; Finance or in any other equivalent qualification from a reputable higher institution of learning.
