Inkomoko Manager - Portfolio Analytics Jobs in Kenya;The Manager, Portfolio Analytics will lead a team of Business Analysts and Graduate Trainees to drive data‑informed investment decisions, strengthen portfolio performance and risk monitoring, and lead strategic investment systems and analytics initiatives. The role provides analytical oversight for credit risk management, strengthens portfolio and financial data architecture, and owns executive‑level portfolio reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Business Analysts and Graduate Trainees.

  • Set objectives, performance standards, and development plans.

  • Build a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.

    Portfolio Performance Analytics

  • Analyse portfolio performance across disbursements, collections, PAR, defaults, write‑offs, recoveries, and provisioning.

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities; provide actionable recommendations.

    Portfolio Planning & Forecasting

  • Support forecasting, target setting, and scenario modelling.

  • Provide forward‑looking assessments under different risk scenarios.

    Risk Analytics & Early Warning

  • Develop portfolio risk monitoring and early‑warning indicators.

  • Lead stress testing and escalate material risks.

    Credit & Investment Decision Support

  • Provide analytical support for underwriting, client selection, portfolio growth, collections, and risk mitigation.

    Executive Reporting & Insights

  • Own executive‑level reporting for leadership, Board, and external partners.

  • Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.

    Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Design and maintain dashboards, analytical tools, and reporting solutions.

    Data & Systems Transformation

  • Support data and systems change initiatives to strengthen credit risk infrastructure.

  • Drive reporting automation and data integration.

    Cross‑Country & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with country teams to strengthen systems and data quality.

  • Collaborate with regional functions to ensure aligned methodologies.

    Data Governance & Audit Readiness

  • Establish and enforce data quality and
    governance standards.

  • Ensure reporting accuracy, traceability, and compliance.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (professional charter preferred).

  • 4+ years’ experience in business analytics, financial analysis, portfolio management, or credit risk management.

  • Experience managing or mentoring analytics professionals.

  • Track record of leading technology integration or systems change projects.

    Technical Skills

  • Expert proficiency in analytics coding languages/tools (Python, SQL).

  • Advanced Excel, financial modelling, credit risk modelling, stress testing.

  • Data visualization with Power BI, Holistics, or Tableau.

  • Deep understanding of data pipelines, integrations, and APIs.

  • Project management proficiency in tracking, QA, and workflow documentation.
