Indepth Research Services Macroeconomic Modelling and Forecasting Consultant Trainer Jobs in Kenya ; We are seeking a Macroeconomic Modelling and Forecasting Consultant Trainer to deliver advanced training in economic modelling, scenario analysis, and forecasting techniques for policy and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update training materials on macroeconomic models (e.g., DSGE, VAR), forecasting methods, and scenario planning.

Facilitate interactive workshops and seminars for economists, analysts, and policymakers.

Provide hands-on exercises in model building, calibration, and interpretation.

Guide participants in applying models to real-world policy and economic challenges.

Stay current with global modelling best practices and integrate them into training.

Assess and enhance training effectiveness based on participant outcomes.

Support organizations in strengthening their modelling and forecasting capabilities.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, or related field.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in macroeconomic modelling and forecasting.

Demonstrated experience in training or professional development.

Advanced skills in econometric and statistical software (e.g., EViews, R, Matlab).

In-depth knowledge of Kenya’s macroeconomic environment.

Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
