IMPACT Initiatives Country Representative Jobs in Ethiopia;Represent IMPACT and manage Ethiopia mission programmes. Lead the team to achieve program excellence, ensure accountability, and compliance with IMPACT guidelines. Strengthen partnerships, secure funding, and contribute to global strategy implementation.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute Country Strategy aligned with global objectives.

  • Identify opportunities and explore new programme areas.

    Programme & Project Management

  • Oversee planning, implementation and evaluation.

  • Coordinate with partners for efficient delivery.

    Fundraising & Donor Engagement

  • Identify and secure funding opportunities.

  • Lead proposal development and donor negotiations.

    Operations

  • Support Operations Managers and Partnership Officers.

  • Explore innovative research approaches and operational models.

  • Coordinate with ACTED’s finance, logistics, administration and security departments.

    Finance & Budget Oversight

  • Manage budgets and forecast expenses.

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and mitigate risks.

    Human Resources & Team Leadership

  • Guide and develop the IMPACT team.

  • Coordinate transparent recruitment and career management.

    External Representation

  • Build relationships with donors, UN agencies, NGOs and stakeholders.

  • Contribute to humanitarian decision‑making forums.

    Data Protection & Accountability

  • Uphold confidentiality of data and engage communities respectfully.

    Requirements

  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline.

  • Senior management experience in INGO field operations.

  • Familiarity with aid system and research community.

  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience; Ethiopia
    experience an asset.

  • Experience in assessments, M&E, field research or evaluations.

  • Ability to multitask under tight deadlines.

  • Proven independence and cross‑cultural adaptability.

  • Fluency in English required.

  • Ability to operate in complex security environments.

    Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: €4,050 – €4,100 monthly (before tax).

  • Monthly living allowance: $500.

  • Accommodation and food in ACTED guesthouse.

  • Private pension fund, health insurance, repatriation assistance.

  • Flight tickets every 6 months & visa fees covered.

  • Contribution to luggage transport (23–100kg).

  • Annual leave: 36 days.

  • Pre‑departure induction in Geneva + training in Paris.

  • Tax advice session.

  • Enrolment in Research Foundational Learning Programme.

  • Psychosocial counselling coverage up to €1,000 annually.

  • Not a family duty station.
