Job Purpose

To provide Business accurate and timeous financial information to assist with decision making.

Job Outputs

Accounts Payable

Accounts Receivable

Preparation and Processing of Source

Information into the General Ledger

Preparation and Processing of General Journals

Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts

Importing of Bank Statements

Cashbook Clearing

Cash Flow Management

Submission of Payments and Collections on FNB Online Banking

Maintaining of Fixed Asset Register

VAT Reconciliations and submissions

Preparation of Audit Packs and assisting with queries for both internal and external audit.

Assist with ad hoc finance related duties and requests as required

Apply and maintain finance and company related internal controls at all time

Qualifications

Matric

National Diploma in Financial Accounting 

Experience

3 years within relevant accounting environment.  

Knowledge and Skills

Strong accounting and administrative skills

Analytical skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently

Sage 300 (Accpac) experience essential

Microsoft Dynamix AX

Proficient in MS Office – advanced excel skills advantageous

SARS e-filing experience

Working knowledge of online banking systems

Accounting to Trial Balance

Deadline Driven
