I&M Bank Associate – Associate – Teller (Garissa Branch) Jobs in Kenya; The Associate – Teller will provide frontline banking services at the Garissa Branch. The role involves processing customer transactions, handling enquiries, and cross‑selling bank products while ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing

  • Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking transactions.

  • Verify and process in‑house cheques.

  • Receive outward cheques, VAT, and PAYE payments with proper documentation.

  • Handle card payments (prepaid, multi‑currency, Narada cards) securely.

    Operational Controls

  • Conduct daily callbacks and maintain organized filing.

  • Balance cash daily and ensure compliance with approved cash limits.

    Customer Service

  • Provide prompt, professional assistance to customer enquiries.

  • Cross‑sell bank products to meet customer needs and drive growth.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, or related field.

    Experience & Competencies

  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a banking environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to speak Chinese language required.
