Objective of the Assignment

  • Organise, (in consultation with the PROSPECTS Programme) and Conduct training of
    Twenty (20) TVET Trainers and TVET managers in integrating -Social Cohesion and
    Peaceful Co-existence in TVET programmes, applying the ILO Guide for TVET practitioners:

  • Promoting Social Cohesion and Peaceful Coexistence in Fragile Contexts through TVET,
    following (distance) coaching by an international consultant.

    Duties and Responsibilities of the Master Trainer

    Under the overall supervision and guidance of the International Consultant, the Master
    Trainer shall perform the following specific tasks:


    • Be available to receive coaching how to conduct TVET ToT, from the international
    consultant

    • Propose – in collaboration with the international consultant – a design of training
    programme for review and endorsement

    • Conduct Training of Trainers program through face to face adhering to COVID 19
    regulations,

    • Document experiences, challenges and uptake of the training

    • Deliver and report on the Training of Trainers (expected 4 days of training and 1
    days of report writing)

    • Provide most effective and efficient supervision and ongoing support to the TVET Trainers who will roll out training to the trainees on the PROSPECTS programme

    • Conduct an assessment of the TOTs during the training roll and apply the M&E scheme developed for the purpose by the ILO.

    Deliverables

    • Detailed training plan covering the whole module.

    • Provide a Detailed and summary Report on Training of Trainers (ToTs) conducted

    • Monitor, supervise and assess the trainers during the training

    • Work with the trainers to develop
    action plans for roll out of the training to other institutions and trainers across the country.

    Qualifications

  • A Degree in Education, Social and Political Sciences, Peace building and conflict resolution or related fields.

    Professional Experience

    • Must have at-least 5 years of training experience in facilitation of trainings
    especially TOT training.

    • Good Working knowledge of peacebuilding and conflict resolution, including in
    refugee and host community contexts.

    • Fluent in English

    Duration of the Contract

  • The overall time period for completion of the assignment shall be thirteen (13) days in the month of November, 2020 upon signing of the contract.

    Evaluation Criteria

  • The selection of the Consultant will be based on Curriculum Vitae (Qualification and
    demonstrated experience) and proposal detailing how the carry out the assignment
