We are looking for a Jr Business Consultant to oversee all aspects of business practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives

The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through business consultant

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Promote business development opportunities with coordination of Solutions and Sales Manager + Sr. Business development and consultants.
  • Act as Sales & Business development representative for existing and new key accounts.
  • Organize, manage and develop contacts, accounts, leads and opportunities.
  • Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts that are aligned with IE’s revenue targets.
  • Meet new and existing clients as necessary, performing demonstrations of software that is specifically marketed to meet the client’s business
    needs with the help of Sr. Software engineers.
  • Attend industry trade shows as required.
  • Be familiar with pricing and which product and service to market to which customer.
  • Develop sales strategies and, using a CRM, track the progress of the sales stages and report on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from the back-office/logistics team in order to successfully close and deliver the deals
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to ensure smooth process of project, liaising with both to manage issues and contacting senior management in exceptional situations.’

    Job Requirements

    Mandatory Skill:

  • Strong communication skills essential as you will interact with client’s senior management, the Board.
  • Overseas communication between other consultants’ business associates and varying levels of technical and managerial staff across IE Network Solutions.
  • Extensive commercial “solutions” and negotiating skills and experience including services agreements, software licensing and multi-client agreements.
  • Self-starter self-disciplined and target focused but able to work in a team matrix environment.
  • Demonstrates drive, passion and flexibility.
  • Works well under pressure, in a highly commercial and dynamic
  • Possesses integrity and honesty.
  • Is proficient in communicating in English and Amharic.
  • Ability to learn and sell complex geophysical solutions to oil company clients, and liaise with technical, commercial and legal functions within both client companies and IE Network Solutions and subsidiaries.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Good at setting priorities and juggling many tasks
  • Self-starter and find it challenging to work with targets

    Commercial and entrepreneurial minded and have excellent interpersonal skills (confident, charismatic, positive and proactive)


  • University degree in one or more of the following disciplines management, marketing, marketing management, Business administration, economics, and other relevant business fields.


  • 0 – 1 Years of experience in any of the above disciplines.
  • GPA 3.00 and above
