ICT Authority Assistant ICT Officer Jobs in Kenya

Job Purpose

This is the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Job Duties

Maintaining support systems and training of users;

Maintaining of Information Communication Technology equipment 266 and associated peripherals;

Maintaining data protection system;

Installing and supporting servers;

Installing and deployment of relevant hardware and software;

Providing user support and training users; and

Performing technical, systems and user documentation.

Job Specification

Personal Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: -Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology or its equivalent qualification from recognized institution; and

Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Competencies and Skills

Good written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skills.

Ability to conduct research into enterprise networking issues and products as required.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Strong customer service orientation.

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
